Prayin' is a mid-tempo, groove-oriented indie pop track with electro bass, reggae guitar and horns. Lyrically it's about not giving up, feeling love for humanity and what we can achieve with a bit of care and cooperation.

The initial song idea was co-written with the house music legend Inaya Day. Once we got to the recording stage C Jolene Melton added her own magic to the vocal melodies, turning up the urgency of the lyrics with her passionately explosive performance.
